Treatment with embryonic stem cells... It's all the rage, lol

Hello everyone,

`

I wanted to share this with you, because I know you'll all be interested or curious at the very least. At this time I am in the middle of discussions with doctors from the United States who perform a procedure, over in the Dominican Republic which is described as an embryonic stem cell transplant. When you have the opportunity, you may want to visit the Company's web site. There is a lot of great information, even testimonies from folks that have undergone the procedure. Google MEDRA, stem cells, Dominican Republic and read more. The treatment cost is $30,000. I would have to raise the money but it would be worth every penny to be healthy again. What do you think?

Have you ever heard of the company MEDRA? MEDRA treat s people with a number of chronic illnesses like MS, epilepsy, rheumatoid arthritis, spinal cord injury and more with embryonic stem cells with tremendous results. MEDRA, specifically Dr. Radar performs the procedure (involving an IV and injection of two types of stem cells) that takes approximately 90 minutes. The procedure is performed in the facility in the Dominican Republic because as you know embryonic stem cells cannot be used here in the U.S.

MEDRA has mailed me a package that explains the whole process, I have spoken on the telephone for more than two hours and I think I am going to do it. If you have the opportunity google MEDRA, Dominican Republic, stem cells. I would love to hear what you think. I'm not crazy, am I?

I wish you all well. You're in my prayers,

Chris

Hi Chris,
I've been looking into stem cell treatments for MS as well and have come across a couple of interesting options. There's a company in Germany, X-Cell Center, that harvests stem cells from your own bone marrow and then later injects them somehow. It takes longer than 90 minutes... a day or two I think, but it is only about 7,500 Euros... about $10,700. They have a pretty good success rate (a third see a big benefit, a third see some benefit, a third see no benefit.) I contacted them and was emailed an imformative brochure. Sometimes they can't harvest enough stem cells (a failed attempt) which is partially why I hestitate to spend the money... in the event of a failed attempt to harvest enough stem cells, they still charge you the cost of the procedure up to that point. I'm personally waiting for the technology to improve a bit in harvesting stem cells from my own adipose (fat) tissue. A company, StemNow offers a stem cell therapy consultation, so I suppose it might be possible to have that done... even in the US. As long as it's your own fat cells being used, there is no ethical concern over the use of embryos. Seventy five people have had stem cell transplants (derived from fat cells) for MS so far and the majority claim some benefit. I found those two companies listed on www.medicalnewstoday.com under the MS section. Perhaps you already refer to that website... if not, I'd recommend checking it regularly. They list new research or articles regarding MS ~ very helpful and interesting information updated on a day to day basis. I've had MS for 23 years and have just begun a serious decline in the past year, so I'm finally looking for information and help. I happened upon your website several months ago and appreciate your story and perspective. It took me a while, but I finally ordered your book today. Thanks in advance for reaching out to all of us looking for someone else with MS who understands. It's been a while since you wrote this post ~ did you decide to go the MEDRA route? I've heard good things about that too. Take care and thanks again,
Susan

hI THERE,
did you go to Medra? I have been there a year ago. Dr Rader just runs the show. He does not directly participate in the procedure. he only directs people to inject the cells. I have only heard from people that had some results when there is an injury of some kind, since the cells work at regenerating dead or damaged cells.
If you were born with a neurological condition and there has been no injury, it's very unlikely to work.

My advise.... if it's a life/Death situation, go do it , you don't lose anything. But if you are not sure... invest the money in special therapy or better equipment, etc ....... Based on what I saw in the D.R. there is a 1% (one) improvement rate, and the improvement varies.........

good luck to you.... In my experience it didn't work at all, now I am struggling to pay for therapies and equipment .....
